Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy -Apply for Funding to Train the Next Generation


The Department of Energy (DOE) has announced $2 million in funding from their Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies Office (HFTO) to help facilitate a training and hiring path for scientists and engineers from Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Other Minority Institutions. The purpose of this funding is to help facilitate clean hydrogen workforce development. Funding is available for advancements in clean hydrogen production, storage, delivery, and end use, including fuel cells, but also may give students the opportunity to visit a DOE national laboratory and conduct information exchanges with researchers.
