NCTCOG and WATER Holiday Grease Roundup 2022

The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG), in partnership with the Wastewater and Treatment Education Roundtable (WATER), is pleased to announce the 9th Annual Regional Holiday Grease Roundup! Instead of washing your grease down the drain, participate in the Holiday Grease Roundup and recycle it for free!

American BioSource will partner with NCTCOG and WATER to collect fats, oils, and grease and recycle them to produce biodiesel. This waste-to-energy program not only reduces emissions by producing an alternative fuel, but it also protects sewer systems and the environment from becoming contaminated by used cooking grease.



This year's Holiday Grease Roundup will begin on Monday, November 14, 2022, and end on Monday, January 9, 2023.
