Mobility 2045 Final Draft Recommendations Available Online, to be Presented at May Meetings

Final draft recommendations for Mobility 2045 are now available online for public review. Mobility 2045 outlines how highways, bus and train lines, and bicycle and pedestrian facilities will work together to keep North Texans moving as the region continues to grow. As the next long-range transportation plan for the Dallas-Fort Worth region, it defines a vision for the region’s transportation system, guides spending of federal and state transportation funds, and addresses air quality and quality of life issues. View the recommendations and submit your feedback at www.nctcog.org/mobility2045.

In addition, NCTCOG staff will present the recommendations at public meetings on May 8 in Fort Worth, May 15 in Arlington, and May 16 in Richardson. Planners are seeking input from the public, local governments and transportation partners. Comments must be received before Friday, June 8. The Regional Transportation Council is expected to take action on the plan at their meeting on June 14. For details about the public meetings and the official 30-day comment period, visit www.nctcog.org/input.
