The TCEQ’s TERP is still accepting applications for the Light-Duty Motor Vehicle Purchase or Lease Incentive Program (LDPLIP). Rebates of up to $5,000 are available for compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquified petroleum gas (LPG or propane) vehicles. Rebates of up to $2,500 are available for electric drive (plug-in or plug-in hybrid) or hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFWIA) has been expanding their use of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) in support of their goal to reach 100 percent net zero-emissions by 2030. To produce SAF, DFWIA partners with a company called Neste to collect over 32,000 pounds of cooking oil each month, then converts the cooking oil into sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). Here are some ways that you can go green this summer: Try to use less A/C if you can. In the hot summer days, it is very tempting to turn down the A/C but try to turn it up whenever you aren't at home. If you can, invest in a programmable thermo
