The TCEQ’s TERP is still accepting applications for the Light-Duty Motor Vehicle Purchase or Lease Incentive Program (LDPLIP). Rebates of up to $5,000 are available for compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquified petroleum gas (LPG or propane) vehicles. Rebates of up to $2,500 are available for electric drive (plug-in or plug-in hybrid) or hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. How DFW Airport Is Using Grease to Power Planes
Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFWIA) has been expanding their use of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) in support of their goal to reach 100 percent net zero-emissions by 2030. To produce SAF, DFWIA partners with a company called Neste to collect over 32,000 pounds of cooking oil each month, then converts the cooking oil into sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).
