Clean air is everyone's business
Regional resource and recognition program for businesses
The North Texas Clean Air Coalition was formed in 1993 to promote voluntary efforts to improve air quality in North Texas through educating, engaging and recognizing the business community.
The Clean Air Coalition outlines employer and employee benefits of clean air and commuter programs and provides the necessary tools to help employers implement programs that reduce emissions in the region and improve quality of life for employees.

- Improved employee productivity + Increased morale = Less absenteeism
- Improved health for employees and their families = Less absenteeism and lower health benefit costs

Overall, company efforts to improve air quality help the region avoid federal sanctions and improve quality of life for employees. For example, telecommuting one or two days per week can save the average employee more than 60 hours in commute time each year.
