2008 - 2009 Air North Texas Partner of the Year

Congratulations to our 2008-2009 Air North Texas Partner of the Year, the North Texas Clean Air Coalition!

The North Texas Clean Air Coalition (NTCAC) was chosen by an internal North Central Texas Council of Governments committee based on criteria in the Air North Texas Partner Agreement as well as information provided by the NTCAC on the Air North Texas Annual Progress Report.

NTCAC was the clear winner of the 2008-2009 Air North Texas Partner of the Year Award. They went above and beyond to promote the Air North Texas campaign in all categories, including, among others:

Publicizing their involvement with Air North Texas. Recruiting new Air North Texas partners. Generating awareness of Air North Texas to the general public.

City of Dallas Public Outreach Efforts

The City of Dallas demonstrated outstanding performance in public outreach efforts and distributed Air North Texas educational materials and information at numerous public events throughout the 2008-09 year.

City of Grand Prairie Logo Placement on Printed Materials

The City of Grand Prairie demonstrated outstanding performance in the area of logo placement on printed materials. The Air North Texas logo was placed on a myriad of printed materials distributed to Grand Prairie city residents. The logo placement on materials resulted in increased traffic to the Air North Texas Web site.

Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA) Logo Placement on Other Communication

DCTA demonstrated outstanding performance in the area of bus advertisements. DCTA printed and placed Air North Texas advertisements in Spanish and English on 85 transit buses which helped to increase awareness about Air North Texas and air quality.
